Klar Descaler Powder, 280 g

Klar's descaling powder uses citric acid to remove stubborn limescale deposits quickly and easily.

Usage - Dosage:

• Dishwasher: Add 100 to 140 g (5 to 7 tablespoons) to the empty dishwasher. Select a 60°C programme and start the dishwasher.
• Espresso machines and fully automatic coffee machines: Dissolve 20 to 40 g (1 to 2 tablespoons) in 1 litre of water and pour the solution into the water tank. Switch on the appliance and run enough solution through to fill one cup. Then run the remaining solution through the machine and rinse twice with clean water. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
• Kettles and egg cookers: Dissolve 20 to 40 g (1 to 2 tablespoons) in 1 litre of water. Fill the appliance with the solution until the limescale deposits are covered and heat it. Leave to work for a short while, then rinse thoroughly.
• Teapots, saucepans and frying pans: Add 10 to 20 g (½ to 1 tablespoon) of Klar Descaler to the item and dissolve in hot water. Leave to work for a short while, then rinse.
• Washing machine: Make sure the washing machine is empty before descaling. Add 100 to 140 g (5 to 7 tablespoons) of Klar Descaler to the detergent drawer or directly into the drum. Run a 95°C programme without a prewash.
• Shower heads, taps and strainers: Dissolve 20 to 60 g (1 to 3 tablespoons) in 1 litre of water. Wipe away limescale with the solution or immerse the affected parts in it. Leave to soak for an extended period, then rinse thoroughly.
